PURPOSE OF POSITION : Provide an exceptional experience for our Summer Adventure Camp children aged two months to 12 years of age.

Ages 2 months 2 years old stay on property and ages 3 years 12 years are more active and engage in activities off property.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and lead groups of 3 to 8 children - depending on age group

Plan, organize, and lead games and activities for children

Activities may include swimming / water, hiking / walks, biking, riding chairlifts, off-site field trips, cooking, art, etc.

Activities are based on the age of children and are developmentally appropriate for that age

Ensure basic needs are met including meals, bathroom, rest, safety, and social emotional well-being.

Follow and understand all Childcare Licensing standards

Multi-task as a team player with other counselors and staff

Work in fast-paced environment

Able to follow through on projects

Maintain a safe, and clean working environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 18 to apply

Experience working with children

Experience organizing events for children

Submit electronic fingerprints and pass Childcare Background Screening

Utah Food Handlers permit

Being active outside in mountain environment for long periods of time

Detail oriented

Strong communication skills

Able to lift minimum of 40 lbs. with long periods of standing, bending and twisting

$20.00 per hour
